Avatar

There has been alot of talk lately about the new movie, Avatar directed by James Cameron. The movie is placed in the year 2154, in an fictional univers on the planet Pandora. Humans want to mine this planet for its extremely high priced mineral. But the Navi, the native inhabitents are resting on the biggest settlementof this mineral. The military is brougth in on a planned attack to drive these beings away while scientest collect data and an political agreement. An ex-marine, Jake Sully, who is a parapeligic, is in control of an avatar. An avatar is a man made creature made in the image of the natives. Jake sully get accepted to a tribe and learns their way of life and now wants to stop the military. A probleme is that while in the avatar, his body is completely vulnerable.

I would suggest getting this movie in 3D to fully appreciate the heigths and the enviroment in the movie. It is an amazing story that has you wanting more of everything. The figth scenes arent numerous but they make up for it in quality. The ending battle, in my opinion, should win an award.

kingdom hearts

I have recently bought a new ps2, I know it's an old system but I just recently got it. I have had a ps2 before so i knew atleast a few games I wanted (GTA san andreas, Turok evolution, any final fantasy and kingdom hearts 1 & 2). My favourite game for ps2 is kingdom hearts, there is no game like it. With one of a kind characters, final fantasy heros mix with some disney characters you can't go wrong buying this game. The main character Sora (you) is followed by donald and goofy fighting the heartless, strange beings created by the darkness in the world. Sora is like a warrior of light, he is chosen by the '' Keyblade'' a magic sword strangely shaped like a key. The keyblade comes in many forms, found throughout the game.

If you’re a fan of wave after wave of enemies u will love this game, enemies come from out of nowhere and come in great numbers. Although this is easily countered by crazy combos and can go on forever and magic which can be strategically placed. If you’re thinking of getting this game and beating it in a day, I’m going to stop you there. This game is extremely long and will still have you wanting more when it’s over. If this game was never ending I would play this till I die. I will pass on this game to my kids, and their kids, and their kid's kids.

New inventive way to play video games

Within my life time, about 17 years, the technology of video games have grown immensely in such short time. If you look back to when the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) to today’s Nintendo Wii or Xbox 360, you could only imagine how much better games will be in another 15 years.


Just the other night I heard of a game that caught my eye, it is called Tony Hawks: Ride. It uses a new controller, in the shape of a skateboard (slightly smaller with no wheels), with sensors for your weight and sensors the sides to read the movement of your feet. Such as pushing yourself along the virtual world is as easy as sliding your foot beside the skateboard

Transformers

Now everybody loves transformers but the real question would have to be, which transformers are the coolest. My personal opition would have to be Bone Crusher from the first movie. His huge claw alows him to grab his enemy from a distance and pull the enemie towards him and go for the kill.

My seconde choice would have to be Ravage, a one eyed jaguar. His speed and maneuvrability creates a good support for heavier fire. He is also pretty silent, he is a scout for the decepticons to infiltrate a protected area. He is also teamed up with a near invisible sub-transformer. He was composed of shards of metal super thine to be near invisble to the human eye.

The other day my girlfriend had came over, she is pretty easily amused by internet videos. She watches this guy's videos, this guy talkes so fast and has this way of being pretty rude but he is trying to be funny. I think videos like this aren't that good but every once in a while to watch a stupid video is good... too many is annoying. My girlfriend kept watching video after video, she kept laughing and i got so tired of it. Altho I got to say one of his videos is pretty funny.

girls

Girls are wierd, they annoy u, yet u can`t do nothing about it. The only responde to an annoying girl is the power of the silent treatement. I know im not to nice to do this but, the other day my girlfriend was bothering me and I couldn`t really say anything about it without upseting her then she had made me walk all the way to the closest Tim Hortons, which is 30-40 minutes away. During our walk to Timmies she kept bothering me, about things I cannot mention, and I just didn`t have anything to say after so I was quiete. She then looks at me says <> in a wierd way, almost offensive, I then gave her the silent treatment and within 10 minutes she was freaking out. She now knows when she is pissing me off, she thinks i`ll do it again. But I would never do it again, the silent treatment is childish, that is why I did it, I took it offensively that she thougth I would do that, so i did.
